On 19 March 2021 New Zealand Police arrested a Hindu person of Indian
origin named Tarun Madan. What caused his arrest? In order to
understand the context, the reader must have a look at the screenshots
below and the sort of hate Tarun Madan was propagating under his own ID
and some fake IDs. Our sources tell us that one of the fake IDs being
used by Tarun Madan was/is “Harkirat Thind” in the screenshots below.
In another turn of events, Tarun Madan was re-arrested
this Friday (26 March 2021) for violating the conditions of his bail.
After going through the threats and abuse in the attached screenshots,
one is forced to wonder how could this guy be so brazen about this all?
The answer lies in the fact that he has the support of the Government of
India (at least its representatives in New Zealand) for his activities.
How do we know this?
See his photo with the High Commission of India in
New Zealand, Muktesh Pardeshi, and Honorary Consult of India in New
Zealand Bhavdeep Dhillon. In addition to Tarun Madan, Mukesh Mehta
and few others who are running fake IDs and a campaign of intimidation
and hate against those the RSS/BJP government sees as its “opponents”
(hence considered a “threat to India”) is also seen in the picture.
It is not possible that when this picture was taken
just a few weeks ago, that Muktesh Pardeshi and Bhavdeep Dhillon were
not aware of the intimidatory campaigns being run by Tarun Madan and his
gang, because these guys were doing so openly via their Facebook IDs and
Facebook group named “Indians in New Zealand”
(since shut down by FB as a result of Tarun Madan's arrest).
In fact, there were a number of complaints made by
Muslim individuals and groups since at least 2018 against those running
this group - chief amongst those being Tarun Madan, Mukesh Mehta, Nishit
Brahmbhatt and Chandni Ahuja. Chandni Ahuja along with her husband
Shobhit Saini owned this group as they had started it in 2016.
Interestingly, there are allegations of financial impropriety pending
against the husband-wife duo. Rather than face these allegations in a
court of law, Chandni Ahuja and Shobhit Saini chose to leave New Zealand
and are now believed to be living in India. But they continued to own
and control this hate group called “Indians in New Zealand” through
their proxies like Tarun Madan.
The modus operandi of this group and the people
behind it was simple and very effective (and we are sure that this same
strategy is being replicated in all those countries where Sikhs have a
substantial population) – they used fake IDs to spread hate and abuse
and issue threats while providing a platform to the infamous Hindu
extremist IT Cells operating from India, to do their dirty work. For
example, a fake ID named “Taimur Rana” was used to spread hate against
Muslims while a fake ID named “Harkirat Thind” was used to spread hate
against the Sikhs.
Young Sikh men most of whom came to New Zealand as
students fell easy prey to the machinations of this group of extremist
Hindus peddling fascist and Hindu supremacist hate. A fake ID would post
something provocative against Sikhs and when some naive hot-blooded Sikh
student reacted with a counter-attack, the moderators (who also were
operators of the fake IDs) would start abuse and intimidation by ganging
up against him. If they still looked like losers, they would ban the
Sikh with the threat that his name had been sent to Immigration New
Zealand and High Commission of India with screenshots of “his abusive
and threatening posts”, without, of course, any mention of how the
threats and abuse started and what the Sikh was responding to.
In fact, these extremist Hindus openly threaten with
“dire consequences” anyone speaking against Modi's government. Students
are very vulnerable to these threats as Police Clearance Certificates
must be sought from Indian High Commission in order to apply for various
types of visas and residency.
👉Hence the importance of the picture of Tarun
Madan and others with High Commission and Honorary Counsel – the
message being clear that the social media posts made by Tarun Madan and
his gang were not just “empty threats” but had the power of the
Government of India behind it. Otherwise, why would two topmost
representatives in New Zealand of Government of India be willing to have
their photo taken with a group that has been facing accusations of
hate-mongering and threatening behavior towards Sikhs and Muslims for at
least the last two years?
