ਐਬਟਸਫੋਰਡ ਬੀ ਸੀ ਦੇ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਸਾਰਜੈਂਟ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਰੌਲੇ ਰੱਪੇ ਦੇ ਡਰੋਂ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਤੋਂ ਆਏ ਅਕਾਲੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਰੱਦ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਤੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਵੜੇ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਸਮਰਥਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਅਤ ਬਾਹਰ ਕੱਢਿਆ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਪੰਜਾਬ ਤੋਂ ਆਏ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਆਗੂ ਸਮਾਗਮ 'ਚ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਵੜਨ ਦਿੱਤੇ।
Singhs numbering in over 800 cancelled the Akali Dal meeting inside the Gian Sweet and Banquet hall in Abbotsford, Canada. The meeting time and event was reportedly unknown until about an hour before the meeting.

Word quickly spread among Sikhs of the event and Sikhs quickly gathered in hundreds to protest outside of the sweet shop.

Sikhs protested outside of the venue and due to the massive numbers police was called on the scene. A minor clash took place between the two parties but police quickly separated the 2 sides.

ਖ਼ਾਲਸਾ ਨਿਊਜ਼ ਸਿਰਫ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਰਪਿਤ ਹੈ। ਅਸੀਂ ਅਖੌਤੀ ਦਸਮ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਅਨਮਤੀ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ, ਪੱਪੂ (ਅਖੌਤੀ ਜੱਥੇਦਾਰ), ਪਖੰਡੀ ਸਾਧ, ਬਾਬੇ, ਪਾਸ਼ਰੂਕ (ਅਖੌਤੀ ਜਾਗਰੂਕ), ਅਨਮਤੀ ਕਰਮਕਾਂਡਾਂ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਰਹੇ ਹਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਕਰਦੇ ਰਹਾਂਗੇ। ਅਸੀਂ ਹਰ ਉਸ ਸਿੱਖ / ਸਿੱਖ ਜਥੇਬੰਦੀ ਦਾ ਸਾਥ ਦੇਵਾਂਗੇ, ਜਿਸਦਾ ਨਿਸ਼ਚਾ ਸਿਰਫ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ 'ਤੇ ਹੋਵੇ, ਸ'ਚ ਬੋਲਣ ਅਤੇ ਸ'ਚ 'ਤੇ ਪਹਿਰਾ ਦੇਣ ਦੀ ਹਿੰਮਤ ਅਤੇ ਬਾਬਰ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਖਲੋ ਕੇ ਜਾਬਰ ਕਹਿਣ ਦੀ ਹਿੰਮਤ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੋਵੇ।
