-: Khalsa Rajbinder Singh

Sri Guru Gobindh Singh ji and Bachittar natak.

1 - Birth - 1666 - at Patna city, Bihar.

2 - Age 4 - 1670 - first meeting with father Sri Guru Teg bahadur sahib.

3 - Age 6 - 1672 - returned to Anandpur from Patna.

4 - Age 9 - 1675 - Father Guru Tegbahadur sahib ji sacrificed at Delhi by fanatics. So become Guru of Sikhs at 9.

5 - Age 9 to 19 - 1675 to 1685 - Got education of various languages, ethics of gurbani, martial arts.

6 - Age 19 to 22 - 1685 to 1688 - moved to Paonta Sahib in Himachal. Started preparing for forthcoming wars with mughals and hilly kings. Accumulated and trained an army there.

7 - Age 22 - 1688 - Fought the first war with Hilly Kings at Bhangani and won.

8 - Age 22 to 25 - 1688 - 1691 - came back to Anandpur and prepared for bigger wars. Created a bigger army and trained more Sikhs.

9 - Age 25 - 1691 - second major war happened at Nadaun.

10 - Age 25 to 33 - 1691 to 1699 - small battles to big wars, altogether 14 battles are fought by Guru sahib. Except 5 battles that are fought in 1701-05 all other battles are fought during this period.

11 - Age 33 - 1699 - Khande ki pahul.

12 - Age 35 - 1701 - First battle of Anandpur was fought.

13 - Age 38 - 1704 - Final battle of Anandpur, Sarsa and Chamkaur was fought. All 4 sons of Guru sahib perished.

17 - Age 42 - 1708 - Got injured by hired attackers of Wazir Khan. Perished same year after anointing Guru Granth Sahib ji as next Guru.

The big question that arises here is when did Guru Gobind singh ji got the time to write such a huge book called Bachittar natak?

Guru Grnth Sahib ji has 1430 pages which were written in duration of 700 years. From baba farid in 10th century to Guru Tegbahadur sahib ji in 17th century.

And now all the experts agree that no such book existed prior to 1896. When some Sodhak committee was formed by Pujaris, who used to control gurdwaras at that time, which accumulated this random poems and claim them to be of Guru Gobind Singh ji's.

It was during the SGPC movement of 1925 that gurdwaras came under the control of Sikhs.

This book Bachittar natak is translation of Markanday Puran which itself was written in 9th century. This fact is accepted by gaini mal Singh in his book dasam granth bodh, part - 1. He says Guru sahib translated Markanday puran to get sikh educated.

The bigger question is didn't Guru sahib knew that Markanday puran is a mythological book and it binds human mind instead of liberating it.

The concept of Bachittar Natak is against the ethics of Sri Guru Grnth Sahib ji, which doesn't believe in incarnations and rebirths. Didn't Guru Gobind singh ji knew about that?
