Sikhs find peace in
northwest Pakistan
Community well integrated in a conservative Muslim
region, where religious minorities often come under attack.
In Pakistan, the Taliban and al-Qaeda sympathisers often
attack religious minorities.
However, the Sikh community has succeeded in integrating into the society even
in the most conservative part of the country. In Peshawar, Sikhs are living in
peace with their Muslim neighbours.
