A
local court here on Wednesday rejected the anticipatory bail of Baba
Darshan Singh, a self-styled godman based at Dhakki Sahib near Payal in
Ludhiana district, in a kidnapping and robbery case. The case was
revived by the court in May this year on the petition of victim woman
and there are eight others accused in the case.Baba Darshan Singh is
well known as 'Dhakkiwale Baba'."
The bail to godman could result in influencing of
witnesses and offence is grave," submitted Kamal Joshi, counsel for the
victim, before the court.The victim, a resident of Sector 25, had
alleged that on February 18, 2007, Darshan and his associates had come
to her residence when she was alone.She submitted before the court that
she was beaten up, gagged and her legs were tied, before she was put in
the boot of a car and taken to an undisclosed location where she was
assaulted with a wire.The accused had allegedly taken all her
certificates, identity cards, all documents relating to her house in
Sector 25, ?6,000, Rs 50,000, three gold chains and two pairs of
earrings.
The victim alleged that Darshan had even directed his
associates to kill all her family members and to shoot her, too. She
claimed that the accused forcefully took her signatures and transferred
her house in their name, claiming it to be the property of Darshan
Singh's dera. Zora Singh, a disciple of Darshan Singh, then dropped her
in Sector 19 here on February 23, 2007.
On the same day, she contacted the then Panchkula
superintendent of police and underwent a medical examination at
Panchkula general hospital. The Chandimandir police had registered a
case on her complaint.However, after making two arrests, the police had
filed a cancellation report in the case. Later, the victim had filed a
protest petition in a court on October 8, 2009, and submitted
preliminary evidence.
On May 15, civil judge Atul Kumar Marya, while
reviving the case, ruled that the cancellation report of the police was
filed on "flimsy ground" and said the police did not verify the
allegations from sources other than the accused. The court also took
note of the medical report of the victim and said it could not be
discarded in a casual manner.

ਸੀ। ਬਾਹਦ ਵਿਚ ਇਸ ਬਹੁਤ
ਚੜਾਈ ਹੋਈ ਤੇ ਇਹ ਸਾਧ ੩੦੦ ਸਾਲਾ ਦੇ ਮੌਕੇ ਤੇ ਅਨਾਦਪੁਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਿਚ ਅਟਲ ਬਿਹਾਰੀ ਵਾਜਪਾਈ ਦੀ
ਰੈਲੀ ਦੇ ਉਪਰੋ ਦੀ ਹੈਲੀਕਾਪਟਰ ਨਾਲ ਗੇੜੇ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਸੀ।

ਜਦੋਂ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਚੁੱਕਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਇਸ ਦੇ ਡੇਰੇ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਇਸ ਦੇ ਭੋਰੇ ਵਿਚੋਂ
ਕਾਫੀ ਅਸ਼ਲੀਲ ਫਿਲਮਾਂ ਤੇ
ਕੌਂਡਮ ਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਇਤਰਾਜ ਯੋਗ ਸਮਾਨ ਫੜਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ, ਤੇ ਇਹ ਸਾਧ ਜੇਲ ਵਿਚੋਂ
ਜਮਾਨਤ ਤੇ ਨਿਕਲਿਆ ਸੀ, ਤੇ ਕਾਫੀ ਦੇਰ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ੧੭ ਸੇਕ੍ਟਰ ਵਿਚ ਜੀਨ ਪਾਕੇ
ਘੁੰਮਦਾ ਰਿਹਾ।

ਇਸ ਸਾਧ ਨੇ ਲੁਧਿਆਣੇ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਵਿਚ
ਮਕਸੂਦੜਾਂ ਵਿਖੇ ਡੇਰਾ ਬਣਾਇਆ। ਇਹ ਸਾਧ ਵੀ ਪੱਕਾ ਕਰਮਕਾਂਡੀ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਵੀ ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਦੇ ਉਲਟ ਸਿੱਧੀਆਂ
ਧਾਰਨਾ ਦਾ ਕੀਰਤਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹਦਾ ਵੀ ਪਿੰਡ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਝਗੜਾ ਚੱਲਿਆ। ਹੈਲੀਕਪਟਰ ਵੀ ਇਹਨੇ ਆਪਣਾ
ਹੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ। ਜਦੋਂ ਕਿਤੇ ਵੀ ਕੀਰਤਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ
ਇਹਦੇ ਉਦਾਲੇ ਰਾਈਫ਼ਲਾਂ ਵਾਲੇ ਖੜ੍ਹੇ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਦੇ ਉਲਟ ਅਖੰਡ ਪਾਠਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਲੜੀਆਂ ਵੀ
ਇਹ ਚਲਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਮੌਤ ਭੁੱਲੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਅਜੇ ਵੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਜਨਮ ਦਿਹਾੜੇ ਮਨਾ ਰਿਹਾ
ਹੈ। ਮਿਤੀ 15 ਮਈ 2004 ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਇਸਨੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਜਨਮ ਦਿਨ ਮਨਾਇਆ ਸੀ। ਇਹਨਾਂ ਸਾਧਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਮਰਨ
ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਬੂਲਿਆ। ਇਹ ਜਨਮ ਦਿਨ ਹੀ ਮਨਾਉਂਦੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਇਹ ਵੀ ਤਪ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਝੂਠੇ ਦਾਅਵੇ ਕਰਦਾ
ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
