ਨਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਕੋਹੜ ਵੱਢਣ ਲਈ, ਆਓ ਇੱਕਠੇ ਹੋਈਏ, ਹੰਭਲਾ ਮਾਰੀਏ

The Punjabi community in the Region of Peel is organizing a Drug Prevention Forum on September 22, 2013 at Sandalwood Heights Secondary School from 1-3pm. This initiative has been launched by the Drug Awareness Society of Toronto (DAST) to help parents and kids understand and tackle this problem together. This event will be a bilingual event hosted in English and Punjabi.

Key speakers will be addressing different topics and engaging the audience in discussions to better understand the issue of drugs facing the community at hand. A short 10-15 minute skit will also be conducted in Punjabi which will be presented by S. Nahar Singh Aujla’s Group.

This forum will allow for current and past students along with parents to understand the reasons kids resort to drugs and how we as parents and community can prevent drug abuse by youth. Upon discussing these issues we as a community will be discussing what tips we can offer youth and parents in order to prevent drug abuse.

	ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਬੇਨਤੀ: ਖ਼ਾਲਸਾ ਨਿਊਜ਼ ਟੀਮ ਵਲੋਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਪਾਠਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਕਿਸੇ ਖਬਰ / ਲੇਖ / ਕਵਿਤਾ / ਵੀਡੀਓ ਦੇ ਥੱਲੇ ਜੇ ਕੁਮੈਂਟ ਕਰਨੇ ਹਨ ਤਾਂ, ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਸਭਿਯਕ ਭਾਸ਼ਾ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇ, ਭਾਂਵੇਂ ਉਹ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਵਿਚਾਰਧਾਰਾ ਵਾਲੇ ਹੋਣ ਜਾਂ ਪੱਖ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਣ। ਇਸ ਗੱਲ ਦਾ ਖਿਆਲ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਕਰੀਏ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਵੈਬ ਸਾਈਟ ਨੂੰ ਬਜ਼ੁਰਗ / ਨੌਜਵਾਨ / ਬੱਚੇ / ਬੀਬੀਆਂ ਵੀ ਪੜ੍ਹਦੀਆਂ / ਪੜ੍ਹਦੇ ਹਨ। ਫੇਕ ਆਈ.ਡੀ ਵਾਲੇ ਖਾਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਜੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ 'ਚ ਜ਼ਰਾ ਜਿੰਨੀ ਵੀ ਸ਼ਰਮ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਹੈ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੀ ਕਹੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਤਸਵੀਰ / ਬਾਬਾ ਜਰਨੈਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਭਿੰਡਰਾਂਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਤਸਵੀਰ / ਸ. ਬਲਵੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਰਾਜੋਆਣਾ ਦੀ ਤਸਵੀਰ ਜਾਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਹੋਰ ਦੀ ਤਸਵੀਰ ਲਗਾ ਕੇ ਅਤਿ ਘਟੀਆ ਦਰਜੇ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਬਦਾਵਲੀ ਵਰਤਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਅਗੇ ਵੀ ਅਤੇ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਮਿਸ਼ਨਰੀ ਸੋਚ ਨੂੰ ਸਹੀ ਸਮਝਦੇ ਹਨ ਉਹ ਵੀ, ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਪਾਠਕਾਂ ਅੱਗੇ ਹੱਥ ਜੋੜ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਆਪਣਾ ਤੇ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਦਾ ਜਲੂਸ ਨਾ ਕੱਢੋ। ਜੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਚੰਗੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਲਗਦੀ, ਤਾਂ ਦਲੀਲ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲ ਕਰੋ। ਸਾਨੂੰ ਸਭ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਗੱਲ 'ਤੇ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਸੋਚਣਾ ਪਵੇਗਾ ਕਿ, ਸਾਨੂੰ ਹਾਲੇ ਤੱਕ ਗੱਲ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਤਮੀਜ਼ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਈ। ਜੇ ਕੋਈ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਵਿਚਾਰਧਾਰਾ ਵੀ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਇਸ ਦਾ ਮਤਲਬ ਇਹ ਤਾਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਿ ਗਾਲੀ ਗਲੌਚ, ਨੀਚ ਪੱਧਰ 'ਤੇ ਉਤਰਿਆ ਜਾਵੇ। ਆਸ ਹੈ, ਬੇਨਤੀ ਪ੍ਰਵਾਨ ਕਰੋਗੇ।
ਜੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਸਾਈਟ ਚੰਗੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਲਗਦੀ, ਸੌਖਾ ਤਰੀਕਾ ਹੈ, ਇਸ ਸਾਈਟ ਨੂੰ ਨਾ ਦੇਖਿਆ ਕਰੋ, Visit ਨਾ ਕਰਿਆ ਕਰੋ, ਅਸੀਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਸੱਦਾ ਦੇਣ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਂਦੇ। ਨਾ ਤਾਂ ਅਸੀਂ ਇਸ ਸਾਈਟ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਬਦਲਣਾ ਹੈ, ਨਾ ਹੀ ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਦਾ ਰਾਹ ਛਡਣਾ ਹੈ। ਖ਼ਾਲਸਾ ਨਿਊਜ਼ ਸਿਰਫ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਰਪਿਤ ਹੈ। ਅਸੀਂ ਅਖੌਤੀ ਦਸਮ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਅਨਮਤੀ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ, ਪੱਪੂ (ਅਖੌਤੀ ਜਥੇਦਾਰ), ਪਖੰਡੀ ਸਾਧ, ਸੰਤ, ਬਾਬੇ, ਅਨਮਤੀ ਕਰਮਕਾਂਡਾਂ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਰਹੇ ਹਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਕਰਦੇ ਰਹਾਂਗੇ। ਅਸੀਂ ਹਰ ਉਸ ਸਿੱਖ / ਸਿੱਖ ਜਥੇਬੰਦੀ ਦਾ ਸਾਥ ਦੇਵਾਂਗੇ, ਜਿਸਦਾ ਨਿਸ਼ਚਾ ਸਿਰਫ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ 'ਤੇ ਹੋਵੇ, ਸੱਚ ਬੋਲਣ ਅਤੇ ਸੱਚ 'ਤੇ ਪਹਿਰਾ ਦੇਣ ਦੀ ਹਿੰਮਤ ਅਤੇ ਬਾਬਰ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਖਲੋ ਕੇ ਜਾਬਰ ਕਹਿਣ ਦੀ ਹਿੰਮਤ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੋਵੇ।
